Energy Center Leads CTE Exploration Events
The eight Minnesota State Centers of Excellence received a grant through Perkins funding to provide exploratory career events at campuses across the state. Each event featured a short-form engagement, like a career fair. The students then got to dive deep into a career of their choosing with real faculty and tools from our campuses.
We reached over 700 students during these career exploration events with four Minnesota State college partners. Logging over 68 hours of class time, some students forged strong ties to the campus and a career path or learned that their skills may be suited for a different pathway.
